Curry made a Halfcourt Shot and went LOCO for 43PTS Againt the Clippers WHILE Wearing imo The best warriors Jerseys EVER ( Chinese New Year 2017) only used in a few select games during January 2017.
What a Beautiful Beautiful Outfit
Steve played 14 guys before garbage time. Given the way the game was going, his foresight to experiment with different players and lineups, on tape, will give us the ability to scheme up a win in game 3. I feel great heading into Saturday knowing a solid plan is coming.
It's becoming clear that it's bothering him more than we all think and I think he is shying away from contact close to the rim.
Healthy foul-merchant Jimmy would be having his way with Gobert and Randle and getting to the line 14 times per game.
Those 3 days off between game 5 and 6 are going to be huge not just for Steph, but Jimmy as well.
We just gotta make sure there is a game 6.
We handled business and stole one on the road, almost made a comeback in game 2, and this entire season we’ve matched up really well against Minnesota. We beat them 3 times in the regular season with Steph, and 1 time practically without Steph if you take away his 12 minutes of play. We’re still the number 1 ranked defense in the NBA since acquiring Jimmy. We will push it to 6 or 7, and when we do, Steph has a good chance of coming back, fully rested after practically playing 2 months of playoff basketball just to get into the playoffs + a play-in and a physical 7 game series. This rest could be what he needed at this age for the final push in the WCF and Finals if we can get there.
For now, have faith, strength in numbers, and remember his coming back from missing 4 games in the playoffs 9 years ago from an MCL sprain and dropping 40/9/8 on 50% shooting and 17 pts in OT alone.
Go Dubs
It seems like game 6 is the target date but thats assuming he's good enough to go which sounds like a long shot. Even if the Warriors somehow magically advance without him a grueling WCF awaits. Also if Steph comes back I'm just gonna be nervous watching his every move. Seems like the odds are against him.
If we knew that it would eventually heal in time, its just pain management, or there wasn't a risk for re-injury then that would go a long ways but that doesn't feel like the case. This is giving me 2019 KD Finals vibes and I definitely don't want that. I'm definitely preparing myself as he likely isn't coming back, the Warriors don't pull it off, it was a fun ride, but we'll have a great shot next year.
God fucking damn. Steph is the most impactful offensive player of all time and it shows man. What the fuck is this.
I kid you not Steph has made a LOT of these rotation players look way better than they actually are. Half of these guys would be g league/end of the bench talent if it wasn't for Steph
Absolute horrendous showing by Moody so far this playoffs. His stats would be lower had he not scored 25 in the blowout against the rockets where we pulled everyone at half (Game 5)
8 points per game on 46 TS
As we wait for Saturday's Game 3 vs the Minnesota Timberwolves, the NBA has plenty of postseason fun while we wait in between games. Feel free to use this thread to watch & discuss the playoffs with your fellow Dubs fans.

"There's no Steph. It's a completely different team."
"Everything has to be about finding a new formula and JK is absolutely a part of that formula."
"(TJD) showed he can be effective against this team."
What he’s saying about him being portrayed as an angry black man is true. And it’s not fair. Calling him a Donkey? You need to reevaluate your choices. Also, frankly, I see racism light around him all the time. (And if you’re reading this and wanting to defend your view of him, you might be a problem.)
But…
He also has issues. They serve him sometimes but most of the time they hurt him and the team. He needs to be better.
But at the end of the day, and let the downvotes fly, what he said is true. There is a story about him being a dumb villain and I don’t think there is anyway he is ever getting out of that story.
Multiple Minnesota Timberwolves fans allegedly uttered a racial slur at Green during Game 2 on Thursday, according to a fan who witnessed the interaction inside Target Center.
Adna “Nana” Maxamed is a Warriors fan living in Minneapolis with season tickets to the Wolves games. She posted a video of the aftermath on X on Thursday night and messaged SFGATE after the game to describe what she witnessed.
-We played one of the worst games I've seen in a long time. Its one thing to miss shots while they make shots and we get blown out. Yesterday we simply did not play like our normal selves.
-We didn't have any movement, no off ball screens, bonehead plays like the backcourt violation, running out the shot clock by dribbling too long then dumping the ball off last second.
-We also missed a ton of short range jumpers, layups, etc that we should have made more of.
-We also missed our open shots. We shot 6/17 from 3 on wide open shots, 1/9 from 3 on open shots. That combined for 7/26 (27%) on open or wide open 3s.
-And we did all that with playing 14 guys including the end of the bench. Significant minutes went to Spencer, Knox, Santos. Key played more than Looney. And that also means brand new rotations, guys who havent played much with each other. They are expected to build chemistry on the fly in the 2nd round of the playoffs against a team that went to the WCF last year.
-The above resulted in inconsistent defense that gave up a ton of open looks. You know how I said we shot 26 open or wide open 3s? They shot 36, of which 27 were "wide open". And on those they shot over 50%.
Despite all of the above going against us, we cut it to within 7 points in the 3rd quarter.
I know it was one of those "7 points" that never truly felt serious. But if any of the above issues went to their mean frequency then I see us actually coming out on top. I watched nearly every Twolves game this post-season. They are very much a vulnerable team. They go long stretches with no scoring. They also make bonehead plays where they take ill advised shots. They turn the ball over. They have so much length yet we continue to our-rebound them. Gobert had 0 blocks last game. E.g. from the ~8:40 min mark to the 4:30 min mark in the 1st they scored 0 points. They had similar cold stretches throughout the game. As poorly as we played we stuck around at around 14 pt deficit for much of the game. We had a horrible start and after that we lost each quarter by 1 possession.
Ant, Donte, Conley, and Reid are great 3pt shooters. but Donte and Conley aren't going to take a bunch of 3pta. Randle and McDaneils are not great 3pt shooters. Gobert is an offensive liability. Again they had 27 "wide open" 3pt attempts. To put that in perspective the median wide open 3pta per game right now in the playoffs is about 17 and most teams above that are 18-20 range.
If we play our best lineups, if we shoot our average on wide open 3s, if we crank our defensive intensity up to what it was at the end of the season and in the 1st round, if we play smart, pass the ball, bright the fight, I see us winning at least 1 game.
I am actually more optimistic about this series than I was before game 2.
Without steph this team needs all the confidence and motivation they can get..... DUB NATION
I keep seeing and hearing "just win one" and then we will be in good shape. I hate this, so much.
We gotta win 3, that's when we will be in good shape. Don't assume Steph will come back. Figure out how to get one first, then the next one, then the last one. But the "get 1 of the next 3 and we are ok" mentality has got to die.
On Oct. 29, 2018, the Golden State Warriors scored 92 points in the first half against the Chicago Bulls, setting the NBA record for most points scored by an NBA team in the first half during a regular season game.

We are fucked
Save your “heat fan here” drafts Save your “coaching analyst” takes Pls we’re supposed to be proud of getting a win at their home now if we lose at home that’s another story but PLEASEEE save your drafts.
5:04* Third quarter
Just went back and watched again. Buddy/Butler/Draymond/Kuminga/Podz was the lineup that brought us within 7. They were on fire. Butler turnover, Podz turnover, Wolves score 2x, then we go to commercial break and Kerr subs in Spencer/TJD/Moody/GP2. Full hockey substitution. WTF was that? We went immediately down 20 again. That was very strange. Felt within striking distance.
i know this is gonna come off as slightly delusional, but there is logic behind my anger. of all 4 2nd round series, minnesota and san francisco are the farthest apart from each other. the 6 other teams are within an hour/90 minutes away from one another flying, while we are 3.5/4 hours away from mn. WHY IS THERE ONLY ONE DAY BETWEEN GAMES 2 AND 3 FOR OUR SERIES BUT NEW YORK/BOSTON AND CLEVELAND/INDY EACH GET 2 DAY BREAKS. ALL 4 OF THOSE CITIES ARE CLOSER TO ONE ANOTHER THAN LA IS TO SF LMFAO. literal delusional scheduling. the nba can't be that dumb, the west has insane milage to cover even in-conference. ok rant over. please rage w me over this in the comments.
I feel like this kid has come a long way. We dog on him cause he can’t play with Curry but the fact is, this offense completely changes without Curry out there.
It changes so much so, that it requires a vessel to channel the offense through. Why not your most athletic and vicious bucket getter. If I’m Kerr, I’m pulling him aside and saying “Listen dude, take it to the rack. Every. Fucking. Time.”
We can sit around and do more of this “Let’s see who gets open. Oh. No one is open. Let’s just huck up a contested 3 with the shot clock winding down” stuff. But this is not effective.
Let’s let Kuminga off his leash and see what he is made of.

I’m going to the game Saturday and anyone else needs to be super loud Saturday. We need to be menaces anytime the wolves have the ball or during free throws.
Crowd can help us get one of the next two. 2-2 curry gets reevaluated Tuesday, cleared Game 5 we win the rest of the series.
LETS GO DUB NATION!!!!!!!
That's all. That's the post. He needs more minutes next game
Saw some people saying/implying QP was the cause of why the team went down 13-0 to start the game. Of course he got pulled and never returned.
I rewatched this. He was scored on, but I don't think it looks like he was where he should be, and it is not on him.
Looks like it was more they were not going big, hence Loony MIA as well.
While I am a huge Post-stan, I think he needs to get a more chances to shoot. Pass him the ball when his side of the floor is clear. There is more room this series and I think he can contribute at least a couple of buckets a game in his 15 min.
