just watched his post game interview - guy is so complacent he would probably just shrug watching his wife die, saying āoh well, thatās life..ā
talking about Ant not bringing the energy while he himself showing as much emotion as Derek Chauvin puttig down that knee - what an asshole!
I've heard and read a lot of the same things on repeat about this series, but there's definitely things that could be a big deal that don't make the flashy headlines.
-Who is guarding Randle and are they going to slow him down? I'm assuming it's Jimmy, but Randle overpowered bigger guys on LA. Jimmy is strong but he's not LeBron
-Can the Wolves get defensive rebounds, especially while Gobert is out? GS has really good rebounding guards and they get a lot of long rebounds off 3's, frequently leading to more open 3's.
-Can NAW stay on the floor? Definitely a better matchup for him, but we are going to need smarter play.
What else am I missing?
This team for some reasons needs some sort of chip on their shoulder against all time players. They absolutely hate playing nobodyās. Remember the pacers game ? Or bucks game where white boy and Bobby Porter lit us up?
We were only down 10 when Steph went out, then lead balloons to 23 within a qtr? Make it make sense

View on RedditTimberwolvesā jersey schedule for the first four games of the second round:
Game 1 and Game 2 are whiteouts for the Timberwolves
Have you guys noticed the Twolves just play better with Harlan commentating? Idk maybe Iām just biased for Kevin šÆ
Why are there not Ant and Naz tonie figurines for me to purchase?
Didn't we have a game with them right after he joined but he DNPd?
Won't be in the local area for game 2 but the media team or w/e cooked this year. I'll buy the shirt off you if you don't want it. DM me!
Being that the game is tomorrow, Iām assuming weāll receive our tickets in the next few hours? Just simply curious.
Who else is beyond excited to see this egomaniac get humbled? What is Jimmy butt cheek gonna cry about after they get shit on? So glad we didn't give that ass the time of day. Shit sucked but the domino effect is is turning into a contender, would love to see a clean sweep to show this bozo what it's like to get beaten, bad. NAZ REID.

There was some commentary in which Shaq picks the Warriors over the Wolves because the Wolves donāt have the personnel to guard Curry. He names Donte and āone other young guyā as the only ones that can guard Curry (6-2, 185, 37yo). I get it - Curry is great, but the Wolves have a ton of players in their 8 or 9 man rotation that have the heights, size, and hustle on defense: Jaden (6-9), NAW (6-5), Donte (6-4), Clark (6-4), and even ANT (6-4). Maybe I donāt watch enough Warriors or is Shaq just clueless despite being paid to know this stuff?
Unfortunately we didn't get to see Clark in round 1.
But Golden State is a lot smaller with Curry, Hield, Pods all 6'4" and under.
Defense will be a big part of this series with pressure on the perimeter.
Thinking this is a perfect match up for Clark to help out and give some rest to the starters.
Hoping Finch gives him some minutes.
The game ain't even officially over as I'm typing this but I just wanted to say, PLEASE TO GOD BEAT THESE MOTHERFUCKERS!!!
Sincerely, Rockets fans everywhere
So as the title kinda suggest, my question is, it time to bench Mike Conley?
Now I'll start of by saying I think he is important to the team as a leader, and someone who rights the ship, when things gets a little bit to loose. But other than that, I would love to hear an opinion as to why we shouldn't start Donte, NAW or even Clark in his place. Seems like our biggest strength(besides Ant of course) is length and athleticism in this matchup. So why not just overwhelm the Warriors from the get go?
Anyway, Go Wolves!
But I genuinely loathe the warriors so much that I might buy an Ant jersey just for the hate watch. Go beat they ass in the worst way possible šŗ in 5
(Grizzlies fan here btw)
I kind of suspected that the media would flip and everyone would take us against whoever we played because we beat their darlings so convincingly.
Against the Rockets, this wouldāve worried me. Ant talked about the motivation when Shannon was saying ālakers in 5ā and the entire ESPN crew picked the Lakers.
Against the Warriors, the team has built in motivation. The whole Jimmy Butler saga, Kerr having Ant come off the bench in the Olympics, Draymond and Rudy, etc. Best case scenario imo
Wild. It totally happened!
Now we know who we have to face and we can prepare even better than we already have been while we waited. It's crazy to think that we weren't even supposed to be here...we are playing on house money. But they counted us out too soon. Now, right now, we have a real chance to grab the golden ring already, even though our team is just barely getting started! We all get to watch this young squad before they have even scratched the surface of the beginning of their prime. This team and this franchise are just now entering a very special time that doesn't come along often in a typical sports fans life. I plan on enjoying it and I hope everyone else does too!
Go Wolves! :)
Hey lol tomorrowās my first time ever going to a game lol bought my ticket suddenly and just sprung on the moment to go lol got a 5 hour drive, but bet itāll be worth lol any tips/advice youād have for a first time game goer? Iād be driving lol
I knew the Warriors would be a big fucking problem. They came in and stole home court advantage on NO REST. And WITHOUT CURRY for a bunch of the game. I'm telling you, if the Warriors don't win the 'chip this year it's ONLY because the Wolves got hot. But they ain't hot right now.
It was Kat who locked up Jokic and came through in game 7. Ant almost shot us out of the game in close out against lakers. It was ant who called out kyrie and proceeded to get cooked to the point he needed a gas mask. Iām not trying to bash ant, but the narrative that heās the āking slayerā is so factually incorrect and heās getting more credit for things he had less contributions for
Yall can try and debate this but it wonāt matter. Heās an absolute terrorist thatās being carried by the 2nd best player in franchise history.
Takes forever to call timeouts to kill momentum, took multiple possessions for him to call a timeout to get an injured Naz Reid off the court. (Edit) he didnāt even call a timeout, Naz Reid had to FOUL to get off the court.
Clearly did absolutely nothing productive in the days they had off.
Sticks to the 8 man lineup RELIGIOUSLY meanwhile kerr is playing 13 people without curry and still giving us belt to ass.
Substitutes players in when we are going on runs and then the flow gets messed up and we lose the momentum.
Giving naw too many minutes when he has proven to be a liability in the last 3 consecutive post seasons.
The funniest thing? I was saying this in the regular season and yall started hating on me and eventually got my post removedš¤£š¤£š¤£
This has been our "prove it" season in a lot of ways, and the same has been true in the playoffs. We're exceeding national expectations and establishing ourselves as a powerful player in the West. But this playoff run is more than that. It's about history.
I cannot think of another playoff run in NBA history (someone correct me if there is one, younger fan so i could be missing something) where this much history and past drama that has come out of a franchise is relevant in the matchups.
The Lakers: - Left Minnesota and took their championships with them - Have Luka, a primary reason we got sent home last year and disliked by a majority of the fanbase. - The former team of two of our starters, Mcdaniels and Randle
The Warriors: - Picked Steph Curry after we passed on him, as we missed the chance to draft one of the best shooters of all time - Have Jimmy Butler, who had an infamously narcissistic attitude and left the Wolves after they wouldn't pay him what he wanted - Have Draymond, who has been in a feud with Rudy Gobert going on YEARS and has actively trashed our players on national TV
If we make it past the warriors, i don't know man, something tells me this might be the year. AND I KNOW that's what people say every year, but this feels DIFFERENT. Like we're actively exorcising the demons that have held us back from success. Like Ant said, who's gonna stop us?
