Literally anyone else in the league would’ve been a better pick, this man is genuinely the most underrated player in the league. That’s like his second game winner in 3 games while being completely counted out in both of them? I genuinely don’t know how yall don’t just win this series easily now. Hoping to see yall in the conference finals if we win hopefully
that is all

View on RedditSo, I live in Indy. The bar where I was having dinner had game 2 on every tv (except for the 1 that I was watching the Cubs on). I’ve never followed basketball outside of watching a few playoff games when I lived in Florida (usually the Heat, or maybe Bulls), if my mom or friends would turn it on. But I’ve always been strictly a hockey and baseball guy, never bothered to look into basketball bc it happened the same time as hockey.
Fast forward to this year; I’ve been incredibly disappointed with the NHL playoffs this season as my Bolts got bounced early by a team that is extremely dirty and crooked yet the league lets them get away with it; so I’m pissed at the NHL rn. My friend at the bar was watching the pacers game, so I started paying a bit of attention. since it was playoffs it got me intrigued - despite being a different sport it was fun to see a game with those intense playoff vibes that I’m used to watching this time of year.
Then the comeback happened and I couldn’t help but get caught up in the action and suspense…and when they hit that three the few peeps left in the bar got super loud and I found myself cheering along with them. THAT WAS FUCKIN AMAZING!!! Gosh dang it, I think I’m a Pacers fan now. So what next??? I still don’t know a ton about basketball and barely anything about the team, so what do I need to know to jump on board for this run?
I'm tired of supporting the Clippers. The Pacers are the anti-Clippers. No flashy iso, no lackluster defense half the time, just effort and heart. If the Clippers had been down 7 with a minute left, they would have given up.
And today, recognizing this won me almost 700 bucks!
I truly believe that if they continue to play hard and never quit, they’ll win it all
Huge game. Dude came through when it counted. I still have hope he can be a star.
Tyrese and this pacer team finally won me over. They had every reason to quit and this dude has a little bit of Jordan in him. I wouldn’t say a lot but a little we just have that championship look this year. We never quit and we always keep fighting. What a time to be alive.
Post game Kenny Atkinson claims they ran out of gas and he regrets not adding more guys into the rotation. They had 7 guys play 26+ mins we had 5. Vroom Vroom🏁

View on RedditHere in Australia it’s the 7th. 30 years ago to the day Uncle Reggie did the unthinkable. How appropriate and can’t help to think we are on the verge of something special here.

View on RedditAs a lifelong fan, so used to being on the other side of these games. Pacers would always blow a late lead to the Bulls, Lakers in the finals, Lebron's teams. I don't believe in choking. I do believe that good teams always find a way to win. This is the first time in my life I feel like the Pacers are THAT team. They always find a way to win.
Made a 5:00 reservation at Commission Row...have any of you valet parked for the game? Their website lists 15/hr for non events....any idea what a game valet runs?
Alternatively is the virginia ave garage opened up for game parking that early?

Everywhere I have seen people are using the pixelated shot from the broadcast. One of the camera men on the floor had to of got an awesome picture. Need that for the phone background.

View on RedditThere were almost last-minute buzzer beaters and several games that went to Game 7. It's only the second round and I'm already so excited! I haven't been so eager to see the next game in a long time. The results are always full of surprises! I'm already wondering which two teams will meet in the "finals"? Who will win the MVP?
Yet nobody in the national sports media seemed to think the Pacers had a chance in this series.

View on RedditHuge win, this reminded me of those Reggie Miller playoff moments from back in the day. A few thoughts on tonight's win and mainly the end:
2A. Myles Turner, kept the game close with his good play and also that tip at the end to get the ball to Hali for the rebound and the eventual game winner was HUGE.
2B. Mathurin was HUGE there in that 4th quarter, getting us back into the game with some tough shots and great effort. He gave a spark on offense that we needed.
Well done Pacers, super proud of this team. If you are going to game 3 in INDY please make a ton of noise! Go Pacers!
