Back in the early 2000s when Burger King did Simpson treehouse of horror toys, they had these window cling style posters hanging on their doors. Both times I saw them, I happened to get one of them stuck on my coat on the way out the door, and didn’t notice until I got home! ;) ;) I didn’t want to just throw them out, so I framed them and have had them hanging up ever since then.
Can anyone help me?
I have this image of homer shaking his fist outside of a car window while driving. I’ve always conjured this image when shaking my fist at others.
I’m unable to find it with a Google search. I was wondering if it actually happened in an episode. Any help would be great.thanks!
This seems bizarre to ask given I'm 40 years old but I was watching Marge vs The Monorail and it just struck me that my daughter is the same age as I was when it first aired (eight years old.)
Is there anyone here that would have watched those episodes as they aired as adults?
Is it only after a while that people realised just how iconic episodes like Marge vs Monorail were or did everyone come into work the next day saying "TV comedy was just perfected last night?"
It's been really hard to find because I only remember a single scene from it.
So marge is with this guy(cant remember who) who offers to give her a plane ride saying "we should fly there!" It cuts to them flying in the plane and he says "or should I say 'glide' there?" and marge is like "I'm just glad you're talking again. You haven't said anything for 45 minutes."
I'm pretty sure I'm quoting it incorrectly but omg this one scene had me laughing for hours I need to see it again!
I can only find one mention of this online so I thought I'd share this.
Finally able to set these all up! My mom used needlepoint over several years and constructed Moe's Bar first, then created The Simpsons House for a family friend. The Kwik-E-Mart was made specifically for me which includes a Trash-Co Waste Disposal Unit.. plus a phone booth, which she felt was pretty sharp. Springfield Elementary School was made for my brother but he didn't take care of it very well so it was given over to me. I collected all the little figures over the years, really happy to have the Treehouse of Horror ones, even if they are incomplete. One day I hope to find Disco Shrew.. he's my favorite!
So I'm curious if anyone else has ever encountered this with the Simpsons DVD sets. I purchased the fifth season brand new/sealed a little while back and Disc 3 in the set is marked as such but the episodes/content on disc 3 are the same as what is on disc 2.
Season 3 Episode 16 (Episode 15 on Disney+) Bart the Lover. A lot of great lines in this one. Watching it again today and the scene where Flanders calls Reverend Lovejoy and tells him Rod said "I do not want any damn vegetables". And Reverend Lovejoy responds with "Well Ned, you know kids and vegetables. Was it asparagus?" That question gets me every time. Seems like Reverend Lovejoy does not like asparagus. Just so funny how that side plot is.
Do you think somebody stopped him and his plans? Or he's still being a supervillian.
Gday fellow fans, So usually I have a Disney plus account so I never noticed this issue… till recently
My Disney app was playing up and not letting me sign in on my new device - anyway of course there’s me desperately wanting to watch classic Simmons as I do every night (especially as I was working away from home in another town).
I noticed YouTube DOES NOT allow a single classic simpsons episode to be uploaded. Do they get deleted? Is the simpsons still that popular? These are the questions I ask then on the other hand you can find PLENTY of new episodes from season 30 onwards, and they don’t get taken down.
Couldn’t find a single Full classic simpsons episode just click bait and extremely zoomed in/cut videos that sucked.
I think I should explain something here first. Like three or four years I ago, I began a Simpsons binge from start to finish. I stopped when I arrived to S33's Treehouse of Horrors due to Parasite spoilers. I recently pick up where I left off (skipped the THoH episode) and I'll proudly call S33 one of my favourite Simpsons seasons to date.
I've always been a defender of The Simpsons post-S10, even though its S10-to-The Movie-run was, in hindsight, of lesser quality. However, I felt myself loving the show again beginning with the Seasons 20 and on, and some of the best Simpsons content can be found in the early Season 30's.
I honestly need help from you to figure out whether it's recency bias - do I love S33 more now than I would have if I'd continued the consecutive binge? I feel like they're genuinely trying to be fresh, and that they're trying to take Simpsons back to what made me love it in the first place: its appeal to all ages, the witty humour, and last but not least, the *heart* at the centre of it. But to feel so drawn back to the Simpsons with S33, is that just a coincidence? Or was S32 of the same quality and I missed it?
Modern-day Simpsons gets slept on for no good reason. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the newer Simpsons seasons, because in my opinion, they have their original spark back.
Didn't Even Know They Had So Much Simpsons Games, Those Simpsons Games Are Unique In Their Own Style, "What's Your Top 3" Simpsons Games¿?? What great memories that The Simpsons games have
Aside from sounding worse than the previous orchestral music on the show, it often sounds irritating, off-style from what used to characterize the series—more artificial and more Disney-like. Honestly, it fits right in with the weird jarring, off putting, ode to nowadays culture 2020s episodes that feel like The Simpsons from a parallel universe.
Similarly the digital animation, sound quality and voices and sound effects have evolved in that manner.
DENTAL PLAN!
Mine is S3E17, it seemed really cheesy to me.
Unsupported media.
View on RedditDoes anybody know which episode includes a scene where there is a montage of bart and homer doing stuff while some lively classical piece is playing on the background?? I remeber the scene probably started with them playing baseball with a pitching machine or something like that.
Pretty bad description but still I cant find the episode please help i need to find it.
