This is more of a question but the Title says it but a lot of what’s happening is most likely directly involved I. Some way directly or indirectly. It seems like Thiel and his billionaire buddies are involved. It seems they are playing not only by the fascist rulebook but by the dogma of dark enlightenment. Let’s make him pay the way we did Musk. Maybe we need to do more to make the guy funding the clowns in Washington uncomfortable.

Please delete if this isn’t allowed. I’m really struggling lately and in need of advice and support. My entire family voted for Trump and still support him today. I’m LGBTQ and married to a woman who is often mistaken for trans. My family is supportive of our marriage and welcomed my wife into the family. But I really struggle with their vote and their continued support of Trump. They always say they’ll pray for us, but voted against our interests and in favor of policies that harm us and others. I love them but I’m disappointed in them and it makes interacting with them difficult, even when they avoid political talk. I feel like cutting them off is extreme. I just don’t know what to do. For those of you who maintain those relationships, how do you do it? TIA! ♥️

Earlier this week, the 50501 community voted to make June 14 a National Day of Action. We also learned some new details about Trump's plan to hold a large military parade the same day.

June 14 is Flag Day. It's the Army's 250th anniversary. It also happens to be Trump's birthday. And I believe June 14, 2025 has the potential to become a pivotal day in the history of this country.

Picture this. Trump is celebrating himself, he's feeling good. But outside his bubble, his popularity is tanking. The economy is struggling. Americans across the country are feeling the pain of the tariffs in their daily lives. And in this setting, he decides to spends tens of millions of taxpayer dollars on a military parade for his birthday. The funds are available due to the Army's anniversary, but the real purpose is obviously to celebrate himself and boost his own ego. Trump's plan is effectively to show the world that he wants to be a military dictator.

This moment is an opportunity.

Imagine if the same day, at the same time, at a different location in DC, hundreds of thousands of Americans gather to hold a much larger rally protesting Trump's authoritarian takeover. Instead of parading symbols of violence, we will be peacefully exercising our First Amendment rights. Speeches. Chants. Music. Flags. More flags and more people than Trump can hope to drum up regardless of how much taxpayer money he wastes. And though the magic of 50501, our event is amplified by millions of other voices across the country and in turn amplifies all those other voices.

Holding one of our events in the same city is important because it will be impossible for the media to ignore. The media coverage will contrast the two events. On the one hand, a choreographed military event centered around a wannabe dictator. On the other, a much larger peaceful gathering where the star of the show is We The People. This contrast will make it clear to many Americans that we're at a crossroads between dictatorship and democracy, and many will join our cause.

Of course, we must also recognize that there are elevated safety concerns on a massive day like this. Some of Trump's supporters will be in DC too (although fewer if we can book up the hotels early). There will be greater police presence in the city. There will be location restrictions. Perhaps most concerning, there's the possibility that some other more aggressive resistance groups could try to stop the parade, sparking intense confrontations with police that we've fortunately avoided so far.

Even so, some members of the resistance may choose to take a disruptive action regardless of what we do. If anything, a peaceful protest elsewhere will attract many protestors away from physical actions at the parade. People will want to protest in DC, and if the only event is a disruptive action at the parade, some people who might prefer a safer protest will take the leap and join the risky one. Additionally, if the peaceful movement is present in DC, our presence will demonstrate that any protestors who do engage in violent actions are a very small minority. We can demonstrate that the massive majority of the movement is committed to nonviolence.

(Sidebar: To be clear, if some members of the resistance want to disrupt the parade nonviolently, please feel free to do so. Get in some good trouble! But I don't think this is the move for 50501, which has a broad membership who generally wants to protest in a safe environment. If you do choose to try to block the parade, you must be prepared to be forcefully removed and arrested. You may experience violence from police or Trump supporters. And if you do, it's so important to remain absolutely nonviolent and not fight back if you want to protect our ability to continue to exercise our 1A rights. But even if you fully intend to remain totally peaceful, also recognize that other legit protestors who are unstable or even agent provacateurs could still turn this kind of action into a bad situation.)

Back to us. I believe we can mitigate risks and achieve a safe, highly impactful event in DC if we choose a location that is relatively far from the parade. We must also consistently emphasize to all participants that this is not a January 6 situation. We're not crashing Trump's birthday party. We're not disrupting Trump doing his thing. Instead, we are doing our thing, and we're inviting the media and America to come check it out. We're doing our own Flag Day event that's bigger, more patriotic, and more important. One that represents true values of this country and carries them into the future.

I hope our amazing organizers and committed members are willing and able to make this vision of Flag Day 2025 a reality. The date has been selected and confirmed on both sides. We have time to plan. We've proven we can hold safe large-scale events. So let's hold this one. Let's believe in ourselves, meet the moment, and take one more big step towards reclaiming our country.

EDIT: For clarity, the suggestion is to organize a big protest at another location in DC in addition to massive protests across the country, like we did April 5.

I think the organizers should start a blackout of Trump’s planed parade… no one should show up to Washington for the event and no viewing of televised event… Maybe even organized protest the same day… ?

Seriously! In only FOUR MONTHS our movement has SOARED astronomically!

We've gotten under Trump's skin so bad he wants to make MayDay "Victory Day" 🙄

And our protests even scared Kevin Roberts (The main POS behind Project 2025).

Could we do more like protesting every day? Of course but that's WHY we're continuing to grow and get bigger DAILY! (Not to mention we all have conflicting schedules, not as an excuse of course! Though when the layoffs start happening at the end of the month I see it happening....)

And my FAVORITE part? Our Allies are starting to see more and more of our protests since Trump and his North Korean wannabe regime wants to turn us against our enemies but...no.

He wants to throw all that away for Russia, a corrupt place with a crap economy with a weak ruler who kills political opponents because he's a weak insecure man under all that evil.

But anyways....we're ONLY gonna get bigger from here!

Fellow citizens, we MUST join together to demand that Congress impeach Trump and Vance, and that the next administration stop Project 2025. I am no organizer, but I believe I see what we should do. Please hear me out.

We see the President of the United States fire inspectors general and ethics lawyers. This is wrong. We see him halt enforcement of corruption laws. This is wrong. We see him use his office to manipulate markets. This is wrong. We see his hotel at capacity with foreign officials and lobbyists paying $10,000 per night. This is wrong. We see him use the Office of the President to deal for his own company. This is wrong. We see him accept millions of dollars in crypto coin from foreigners. This is wrong.

We hear him mock and threaten our allies. We see him break our treaties. We hear him support extremists in other countries. We see him gratify the thug Vladimir Putin, sacrificing the democracy Ukraine to Putin's monstrous ambition, endangering global stability. We see him seize and deport undocumented migrants, immigrants with legal visas, and American citizens without the due process that the Constitution obligates him to give. We hear him mock judges, threaten to impeach them, and threaten to arrest them. We see him violate their orders. We see him suing media with preposterous claims. We hear him say he plans a third term. These things are wrong.

We see his cabinet of incompetence leak national secrets, cut science, cut healthcare, cut veterans housing, cut primary, secondary, and university education, and cut infrastructure. We see them cut capacity in tax collection, Social Security, disaster relief, cybersecurity, election security, and even the Voice of America. We see them end deliberated rules on worker safety, water pollution, air pollution, consumer fraud, and financial markets. We see them cut funds for starving foreign people, for healthcare of pitiful foreign countries, for human rights in countries run by despots. We see them illegally collect our data into one place. These things are wrong.

We know they move fast to prevent anyone from stopping them. They will quickly do more wrong. We can’t wait for midterm elections.

Fellow citizens, I ask you to join together without regard to party or other interest. I ask you to lower your flags of blue, flags of rainbows and fists, of election campaigns, all the flags of our own interests. I am a climate researcher. I will lay down my green flag.

We are American citizens. We love our country. We seek the rule of law. Let us demand that the House of Representatives impeach these evil men. Let us demand that the Senate follow its Constitutional obligation that it failed twice before, to convict Trump and now Vance. And stop Project 2025.

We must raise the American Flag! I ask for disperse networks to coordinate. We need more people in the streets than any protest this country has ever seen.

Now, you lawyers with your fountain pens, find some letterhead. You buff gym bros, find a T-shirt. You soccer moms with your markers, find craft paper of any color of the rainbow. Those of you in the tornado torn towns of Tennessee, grab the rusty section of corrugated roof blown into your backyard. Wherever you are, make your sign with what you have. On one side write IMPEACH TRUMP AND VANCE. On the other side, write STOP PROJECT 2025.

May 31 is Memorial Day. Find a group to join. Find a protest to attend. We will remember those who died for the rule of law and we will demand the return of the rule of law to honor them. Bring your sign. Bring the American Flag if you have one.

If our voice is not loud enough, we’ll know.

June 14 is Flag Day. Find a group to join. Find a protest to attend. We honor our Flag by demanding the rule of law. Bring your sign and Flag. And bring your friends and neighbors.

And, after that, if our voice is still unclear to Congress, we will know.

July 4 is Independence Day. Call out on social media, liberal and conservative. Write “I can see you voted for that. But did you mean to vote for this?” Curse no one. Beg coworkers and your crazy cousin to stand for the rule of law. Ask if they can abide Trump's crypto grifting. This is not a partisan or special interest protest. This is about restoring the rule of law in America.

Invite every nonprofit and church in town. Post signs on your street inviting people to join. Go door to door asking all your neighbors to come.

Then, at high noon on the Fourth of July, with your family, neighbors, friends, and co-workers, walk to your nearest main road. Roll out Grandma in her wheelchair. We must be too many for any park or stadium. We must be everywhere. Interfere with no one. Show respect and kindness to everyone. Follow the law. Simply stand safely at the side of the road and hold your sign. And wave the American Flag.

We demand a split in every bloody tooth of the iron chain on the gasoline powered saw they call Project 2025. We demand that Congress remove these lawless grifting fools.

I am no organizer. My social media skills are weak. If you can organize, please step up again. If you can link, share, re-post, please do so. I ask you all to help with the skills you have.

I don't know how this will turn out. We need Congress to do their one job: impeachment. There are reasons to believe we will fail. They may cover their ears again. If they impeach and convict this administration, hard obstacles remain. We have to reverse the Supreme Court’s immunization of the President. Yet We the People must speak now, setting aside the other things we care about. We must demand the restoration of the rule of law.

Okay, so the parade is confirmed. It’s obviously awful, but they’re making it out to be an Army parade rather than a President Poopy Pants parade. So here’s what I propose:

We have opposing rallies on the same day, but make them focused specifically on mutual aid for Vets. We have Veterans’ resources there and we raise money to help make up for the cuts this regime made to the program that helps Vets with their mortgages.

The military is finally FOing. Let’s be there to catch them AND stick it to Cadet Bone Spurs.

I'm almost ashamed to be linking a CNN article, but the polls been conducted by SSRS, a bi-partisan election-research entity. 41% folks. For context, even Nixon started out with a 67% approval rating before Watergate and the bombing of Hanoi sent his ass into freefall. He ended up leaving the White House with a 24% approval rating, which is where this Fascist prick should be headed.

I'm seeing a lot of frustration and nay-saying on the forums lately, and to them I kindly say go fear-monger somewhere else you cowardly scum. Joseph Goebbels would be proud of the wanna-be Neo-Nazis of today with the war on propaganda. This isn't 1945, the internet is well and alive AND THE PEOPLE WILL SPEAK UP. Keep organizing, keep protesting, keep boycotting, do absolutely everything you can to stop the spread of Trumpism.

Trump loves attention, both positive and negative. do not give this administration any chances to twist this parade into something positive, don't go.

Y’all. I am in absolute shock over the comments on a recent post made on a local public facebook page from a small, VERY MAGA town in Middle TN. I didn’t screenshot all of them, because there are HUNDREDS, but they are ALL NEGATIVE TOWARDS TRUMP!!! If you know the town I live in and the people that live here, you’d know that this is a HUGE deal! I’ve been so disheartened since the election because my town has been very loudly in support of Trump, and every post made on this facebook page before has had an overwhelmingly positive reaction for him, but this time, people are pissed!

Parades are not enough. We need to be organizing to interfere with the illegal ICE raids so that we can challenge them in court. Those of us with legal citizenship and legal rights that we can take to court have a responsibility to fight for those that are being victimized without due process. The civil rights movement didn't get traction through parades, it got traction by challenging unjust laws. We should be challenging the unjust lawlessness carried out by ICE. So when do we take these protests to ICE headquarters?

it would be a great way to show respect to veterans and to divert attention from trump. We could go to veterans cemeteries and lay down flowers, and similar activities that would honour their sacrifices for our freedom. I dont see a better way to spend that day. Lets use our time wisely by supporting the veterans trump has danced on the graves of, and show the living ones that we care for them too.
